Two of us watched Lectures 1 and 2 streaming. The lecturer has a speaking voice that is hard to listen to. The visuals were very poor. Often he would show a slide and would direct our attention to something which was not clearly indicated in the visual and often not to be found. He is describing the heart cycle with lots of motion. And at the same time, illustrating with a static slide. Animation! Did no one think it might be helpful??

Fantastic! Anthony Goodman is knowledgeable, interesting and through. The graphics and mockups are great. Ranks with Stephen Ressler’s courses. I could not have afforded this course other than on a special price from The Great Books. Thank you.

This is a critical subject with broad interest from your community. The treatment in this series was probably fairly dull and tedious nearly twenty years ago when it was produced. It's definitely time for an updated version with modern graphics and production standards.

The material is well presented with good illustrations but at a very basic level. Might be good as a high school biology course. I had higher expectations. I did learn a few things.

Surgeon and teacher -- lots of experience as a doctor added value to this series. Little problems with the graphics dropped it to four stars, but overall I learned a lot.

Enjoy this course. One criticism, he often is illustrating a point on his diagrams or charts but the video doesn't indicate anything. He will say , for example, "the turbulence is here", but no indication of where exactly "here" is.

For the mock ups and diagram, I recommend the video. In HS I skipped biology by taking a 2nd year of Physics. Fantastic catch up for me. Watch for a sale.

Once again I am totally impressed by the quality and utility of this course. I have taken many courses through edX and here, and I can say with certainty this is the best one yet on the human body. The prof is so clear and effectively in the way he describes complex topics. He does a masterful job of speaking to the layman but still going into enough detail that you feel you are getting true medical school depth of knowledge on the human body. My hat is off to Great Courses (Wondrium) for providing these excellent courses. I have no regrets for signing up. It has been money very well spent.

Professor Goodman is interesting to listen to and has an enthusiasm and love for the human body. One could listen to this a couple times and get more from the lectures each time. I found it amusing how Professor Goodman observes design in the fate of pure chance and time. Just maybe there was a designer behind it all. However, that is another course.

Excellent course ... Very well organized and prioritised to fully grasp and understand (learn) fully the ahe anatomy components of the human body and to fully see how each part actually functions ... In demonstrations of a healthy body as well as the causes of disease or ill-functioning. Excellent learning tool about the human body. Thank you.
